This is more likely to happen on Windows 7 & 8. But, it rarely occurs on Windows 10.

To solve this, we recommend running applications in compatibility mode.

Here is how you can fix a black screen issue:

Right-click on the INK desktop icon select Properties.



Go to the Compatibility tab. Check Run this program in compatibility mode and; select Win XP (Service Pack 2) from the drop-down menu.

Click Apply to save these changes



Relaunch INK

NOTE: When an update is available, this setting may cause issues when updating INK. To resolve any update issues, simply uncheck the Compatibility box.
